I am a Certified Hydrogeologist and LACO’s Principal Geologist. I’ve been working in the industry for about 15 years, with a break along the way. I’ve worked primarily in northern California except for a stint in rural southwest Virginia (go Hokies!). I left the AEC industry for awhile during the 2008 economic crunch but returned to California in 2014. I wound up back at LACO where I worked in the early to mid-2000s, which was a lot like going home. I most enjoy working on groundwater resource projects that help individuals and communities maintain groundwater availability and security.
In addition to work, I am on the Board of Directors for both a local land trust and our county Resource Conservation District. In my off time I dabble in various fiber arts (mainly weaving, knitting, and dyeing) and help put on our local Natural Fiber Fair, which has been virtual since 2020.
